Mahasti Razavi, a partner at August Debouzy, provides advisory and litigation support on IT, digital, e-commerce and media issues. She assists and advises major players in the technology, new economy (Next 40), finance, luxury, hotel, retail, services and telecom industries. Mahasti Razavi assists companies with the implementation of digital transformation, outsourcing and partnership projects. She also acts as a strategic advisor to her clients thanks to her in-depth knowledge of their organizations, her vision of the market acquired over the course of 25 years, a transversal approach to the subjects addressed and an international culture.

After teaching for several years at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Institut d'études politiques de Paris (IEP), also called Science Po) and the Paris Bar School (École de Formation du Barreau de Paris (EFB)), Mahasti now delivers lectures on topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, contractualising major digital projects, management of the attendant litigation risk and changes in law functions in relation to the development of LegalTech companies.

Mahasti Razavi is a member of the working group on technologies in the French legal Think Tank, Club des Juristes. She is recognized as an IT expert by the Chambers and Legal 500 rankings and has contributed, and still contributes, to numerous publications, through articles and analyses, including most recently “Lockdown has boosted remote activities and accelerated the digital revolution”, “France or the new Blockchain paradise”, and “A robot law soon”. During the last Cité de la Réussite event, Mahasti Razavi also spoke about artificial intelligence.

Mahasti Razavi has been Managing Partner of August Debouzy since January 1, 2018.

In June 2022, in her capacity as Managing Partner of August Debouzy, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the French-American Foundation, of which the firm is a long-standing partner, very attached to the Franco-American relationship.
