Jean-François PUGET was called to the Bar in 1991 and began his career in restructuring working with François Fauvet and Marc Santoni, then Olivier Cren, with whom he partnered.

He joined Cornet Vincent Ségurel in 1997 and since been in charge of commercial law in the Paris office.

Jean-François PUGET holds a bachelor's degree in private law from the University of Nantes, a business degree from the Ecole supérieure des sciences commerciales of Angers (ESSCA) and a master's degree in International law from Paris II.

He works on complex problems of business law, providing both advisory and litigation services, in the area of distressed companies and businesses, disputes among shareholders, but also in the area of contractual relations, competition, and sale/distribution.

His experience in business law and international law, his understanding of financial data, and his understanding of the problems of companies and businesses enable him to have a relevant approach to matters in the interest of a client.

He teaches in connection with the Magistère Banque Finance and Master II d’ingénierie financière of Paris II.

Jean-François PUGET belongs to various professional associations, especially Eurojuris International or Entreprises et Progrès.
