Katarzyna Piechocka is a Senior Counsel in the Commercial team at Bird & Bird's Warsaw office.

She has been advising clients since 2007. She is a strategic advisor to Warsaw office's clients, and specialises in advising on commercial matters. Katarzyna has extensive experience in advising State-owned companies, as well as private companies from various sectors, including banking and finance, insurance, postal, pharmaceutical, chemical and automotive. Her experience covers in particular drafting and negotiating all kind of contracts and commercial arrangements, as well as assisting in preparing product offers, including implementing new products and business lines, and advising on negotiation strategies and on implementing and terminating agreements. She also supports clients in developing and implementing internal regulations, group standards or business needs. Katarzyna also advised financial institutions on corporate governance, compliance and regulatory matters. She has also experience in advising financial institutions and public and private companies on financial market transactions, i.a., credit financing, debt securities, derivatives and debt restructuring. She also conducts due diligence of companies and their assets, in particular corporate due diligence within the scope of corporate governance, commercial contracts, risk management, compliance and information management.
