Bruchou & Funes de Rioja has deep expertise in renewable and conventional power generation and transmission, and is sought out to advise on a wide array of electricity-related regulation, project finance, corporate, M&A, tax and environmental matters. Other active areas for the practice include public tender processes for new renewable energy developments, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and financing arrangements. The team is jointly led by Mariano Luchetti, who works with clients involved in electricity generation, transportation, and distribution; and highly-rated energy and public law partner Ignacio Minorini Lima, who also handles arbitral matters - both domestic and international. Experienced corporate partner Exequiel Buenaventura is also available to support the team, as is recently promoted partner Nicolás Dulce, who works across the oil-and-gas and electricity sectors. Former senior associate María Laura Rozan moved in house at NeoElectra in July 2024.
