Bruchou & Funes de Rioja's dedicated environmental law team works closely with partners in other related practice areas, including mining, energy, capital markets, administrative law and litigation, to provide comprehensive advice on environmental conflicts and litigation, environmental regulation and compliance, permitting, the environmental aspects of M&A and green financing deals. The practice is now led by senior associate and ‘expert consultant’ Pablo Crimer, who also leads the firm’s recently launched ESG platform for climate action and sustainable businesses. He can draw on an array of partner level support, including Sergio Arbeleche, whose mining background has seen him develop extensive experience handling environmental law matters; Sebastian Vedoya, also a specialist in environmental matters related to the mining sector, along with hydrocarbon projects; and administrative and public law partner Juan Zocca. Since publication, Crimer has been raised to the partnership - effective as of April 2025.
