Day-to-day tax advice, including assistance with the tax aspects of setting up operations in Argentina, is also provided, while the firm’s white-collar crime team supports the practice in relation to tax and fiscal offences. The practice is headed by well-reviewed tax practitioner Santiago Montezanti, who has advised clients on international tax planning, tax-free reorganisations, M&A, and tax litigation for more than two decades. Senior associate María de los Ángeles Olano focuses on litigation and international and local tax matters, and leads the second line alongside senior associate Enrique López Rivarola, an international tax planning, tax litigation, and transactional tax lawyer. Since publication, López Rivarola has been raised to the partnership - effective as of November 2024.
