  • Acted for M.Shop in the filing of a lawsuit aiming at the recognition by the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) that the LEGO Education line of products should have tax immunity as ICMS and IPI and zero rate of contributions to PIS/COFINS.
  • In view of the recent decision of the Brazilian Supreme Court on the possibility of review of res judicata cases (i.e. cases with further decisions by the Court in the opposite way), assisted Metso Outotec with the procedures for both settling current cases and anticipating future debts still not detected by the tax authorities.
