HSM holds its IP practice at its core and the Cayman Islands-based firm is instructed by a broad range of clients operating across the Caribbean. The team is reliable for country-specific trade mark, patent and copyright assistance, ranging from portfolio management and registration, to contentious cases, including recent responses to revocations, and WIPO provisional refusals in different jurisdictions. In November 2023 the firm hired Mrinali Menon from Indian firm Anand and Anand and she draws on experience representing clients in India and New York. She joins managing partner of the IP group Huw Moses, and Kate Cleary, who is well versed in IP strategy and management.
