Its clients include some of the biggest companies on the island, public utility companies, and many major multinational groups of companies. The department is vastly experienced in corporate acquisitions and mergers and is particularly adept at advising major players in the shipping industry on reorganisations and restructurings. Additionally, it has been advising equity funds on investments in Cypriot start-up companies in the tech sector. It has a strong commercial offering too which spans advising on complex trading agreements, online trading terms and conditions, as well as shareholder agreements. The group has a substantial offering which deals with the registration of companies both in Cyprus and abroad. Christos Georghiades is another highly regarded member of the practice.
