The recent workload for OMG‘s energy and infrastructure team includes large-scale energy project finance. In addition to advising on matters in the traditional energy sphere, the group is active in the renewable energy space, including in M&A. Advising on energy-related regulatory matters is also a core area of expertise. Corporate law and M&A expert Esperanza Cabral heads up the team together with firm president Leonel Melo, who is adept at handling corporate, finance and tax mandates for leading energy companies in the Dominican Republic. Elsewhere in the team, consultant Emily Sucart is a key name to note for both renewable and conventional energy projects.
