The team focuses on growth industries such as energy and technology as well as on the financial services, healthcare, TMT and private equity sectors, while public-to-private transactions, public takeovers, delisting acquisitions, joint ventures and share buyback programs represent the group's strengths. Nicolaus Ascherfeld leads the team and demonstrates particular transaction expertise in the energy infrastructure sector. Hans Diekmann, who is experienced in corporate as well as M&A, is another key contact. Stefan Witte (M&A, PE, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations) joined the team as counsel from YPOG in April 2024.
