The team regularly represents clients in tax disputes before Hungarian administrative courts, frequently employing EU law arguments, and has significant experience with cases before the ECJ and the Hungarian Constitutional Court. They have recently advised on the newly introduced extra-profit taxes. Co-head Zoltán Várszegi specialises in tax litigation, including ECJ cases and constitutional court proceedings. Co-head Dániel Kelemen combines expertise in litigation and dispute-avoiding strategies, with a focus on VAT, digital tax, transfer pricing and local tax disputes.
