Milbank's practice effectively marries high-level technical/legal knowledge with deep commercial understanding for a creditor-focused client base. Under the expert leadership of the vastly experienced Suhrud Mehta, the team is regularly engaged in high-profile big-ticket deals, where it is able to draw upon bank and bond expertise as well as a nuanced understanding of a myriad of finance products including European and US-style documentation. Investment banks continue to inform a significant portion of the deal flow, however, the firm has also made strong inroads into the private credit market.
