As of its July 2024 merger, Pérez-Llorca inherits the Gonzalez Calvillo team that is best known in the Mexican dispute resolution space for its representation of major clients in class actions. It continues to counsel BP, Sony and Nike in such cases. Beyond the class-action niche, the practitioners are also well versed in administrative, civil, commercial and constitutional litigation, and frequently act for the Mexican subsidiaries of major multinationals. Senior figure Edgar Grajeda is a regular lead counsel in the aforementioned class actions; he co-leads the department alongside Daniel Morán, who is noted for energy and real estate controversies, judicial reviews subsequent to public tenders, administrative sanctions, nullity trials and amparo proceedings. Senior associate Ana Rosa Bobadilla is primarily focused on civil, commercial, family, criminal and administrative law; while fellow senior Manuel Gálvez is particularly active in TMT litigation.
