Largely based in Manchester, the family team at Slater Heelis (Part of Lawfront) consists of ‘technically excellent and client-focused solicitors’ who are known for their financial work for high-net-worth and often international clients. The group also has particular specialisms in matrimonial finance, nuptial agreements, and international family law, as well as in complex children disputes and Schedule 1 Children Act proceedings. Practice head Mark Heptinstall frequently advises entrepreneurs and business owners with complex income structures on a broad range of financial matters. Charlotte Beck has extensive experience advising clients on divorce and cohabitation disputes. The group also includes Vicki McLynn and Kim Aucott, who both specialise in complex financial work, and Kaleel Anwar, who advises on a wide range of family law issues and has niche capabilities in providing Islamic family law advice that is compliant with Sharia Law.
