Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados' regulatory and administrative law practice advises clients on a range of administrative petitions and procedures before all entities of the Peruvian government, public procurement processes, public-private partnerships, concessions, and permits, licences and authorisations. Co-leading the practice are: Gerardo Soto, who brings valuable expertise in highly regulated industries and in administrative procedures gained from his previous role as a lead counsel at OSIPTEL; and Jorge Lazarte, an administrative law specialist and President of the Association for the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers, who re-joined the firm in September 2023. Providing additional partner-level input, Alonso Rey's broad practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, project finance and public-private partnerships. At associate level, principal Michelle Aramburú has specialist expertise in regulated industries and administrative law, with a notable focus on infrastructure matters. Former fellow principal Mayra Aguirre moved in house at ENGIE Perú in February 2024.
