A&O Shearman

A&O Shearman covers all aspects of a wide range of transactions across the real estate and construction industry. The team is able to draw upon its banking and M&A specialisms to assist clients with real estate transactions, including sales and acquisition of properties, commercial leases and permitting advice. Team members specialise in offering niche services including construction litigation and arbitration, with co-head of the real estate department Matej Košalko experienced in handing construction disputes in PPP projects, and under FIDIC and other EPC forms of contracts. Tomáš Búry also co-heads the practice and draws upon his corporate and M&A experience to advise on a large number of real estate transactions, as well as in energy, infrastructure and real estate projects. Lenka Letková  recently joined the firm from Sparring.
