Akin is highly involved in operational matters for sports leagues and clubs, setting strategies, and is also known for its work on work relating to broadcast rights, including bankruptcy proceedings related to this, as well as assisting clients with gaining broadcast rights. Significantly, the group has bolstered the group’s media rights work with the addition of Randall Boe in New York as senior counsel, who spearheads the group alongside Daniel Nash and Chris Spicer, who are based in Washington DC and Los Angeles respectively.
