Fox Rothschild LLP fields experienced ERISA litigators and employee benefits attorneys across the US, whose varied clientele includes plan sponsors, fiduciaries, third-party administrators and insurance companies in defense of class action lawsuits. Co-chair Brian Cousin, in New York, has been instrumental in numerous class action and single plaintiff cases dealing with breaches of fiduciary duty related to excessive fees and precipitous stock drops for clients in the health care industry. In Atlanta, Kenton Coppage also leads defences of employee benefits determinations by self-funded and insured plans, as part of a wider ERISA litigation practice. José Jara, in New Jersey, defends clients in a range of actions including breach of fiduciary duty and ESOP class actions, and was reappointed as the Chair of the Employee Plans and Executive Compensation Group of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law for the 2024-2025 term.
