Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP‘s ’client-centric’ practice is devoted to the construction and government contracting industry. The team is led by Atlanta’s Lee Mann, who has represented clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and is particularly knowledgeable regarding mechanic’s liens and bonds. Other dispute heavyweights in Atlanta include Gautam Reddy and Daniel Johnson, who litigate on behalf of contractors, engineers, and owners; Daniel Swaja, who advises on construction and engineering claims avoidance; and Brian Corgan, who handles disputes involving traditional and clean energy projects. Robbie Poplin is another staple of the Atlanta base – he focuses on public-private partnership transactions as well as large commercial infrastructure and transportation projects. ‘Stand out’ lawyer Patrick Gaas manages the Houston office where Brian Gaudet is also based – both are well-versed in the construction lifecycle from contract formation to potential dispute resolution.
