David Franco

David Franco is specialized in financing and restructuring transactions, mainly focusing on real estate assets (acquisitions or development of offices, retail, logistics, hospitality, healthcare or residential assets). He assists both investors (investment funds, institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, developers) and lenders (banks, financial institutions, insurance companies) located in France or abroad. David Franco also advises in debt restructuring within the framework of pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings.

Emmanuel Galifer

Emmanuel Galifer’s expertise in real estate tax matters allows him to assist French institutional investors as well as foreign investment funds, property developers and tenants. He also advises investors and listed and non-listed companies in their M&A operations. Furthermore, Emmanuel Galifer also assists managers, individuals and companies in their personal tax issues both nationally and internationally.

Franck Denis

Franck was co-opted as partner in July 2019. He is essentially involved in real estate acquisition, promotion, building and negotiation of commercial leases. Advising on all the legal aspects in relation with acquisition, cession and development (building, housing promotion) in all types of operations (offices, warehouses, malls, hotels, living facilities), Franck also regularly takes actions regarding real estate management and commercial leases.He particularly advises institutional investors, financial corporations, sponsors developers and French and international major users.

Frédéric Lefébure

Frédéric Lefébure’s main activity focuses on real estate acquisitions (portfolio, real estate companies, offices buildings, retail centers, healthcare and residential properties), real estate asset and properties management (development and commercial leases negotiations). Frédéric Lefébure advises French and overseas Institutional companies, funds, investors as well as industrial groups. His expertise in corporate law is also very appreciated as well as on real estate market and on M&A mid-cap companies field.

Juliette Bril

Juliette Bril is in charge of the firm’s environmental law department. Bilingual in English, she advises her foreign and French clients (investment funds, institutional investors, industrials, banks, insurance companies, developers, warehouse users, individuals…) in environmental law issues either in industrial regulations (classified facilities, pollution, waste, renewable energies …) or in property and warehouse regulations (green lease, asbestos, legionella…). Her experience in real estate investments has allowed Juliette Bril to develop a specific expertise in environmental law issues in relation to real estate acquisitions or share deals (environmental due diligence, contract negotiations and liability guarantees).

Matthieu Barthélemy

Matthieu joined Fairway as a partner in September 2020 in order to create the Restructuring practice. Matthieu's expertise covers debt restructuring in the context of pre-bankruptcy proceedings (ad hoc and conciliation procedures), as well as in the context of safeguard, reorganization and liquidation proceedings and, more generally, all matters in connection with the restructuring of distressed companies, both advising clients and representing them in court. Matthieu also has an extensive experience in commercial, banking, financial and civil litigation, and he is also involved in financing transactions and capital markets including as counsel to foreign investors.

Neslihan has joined Fairway as a Partner in January 2018. She specializes in all real estate law aspects of real estate investment transactions (acquisition, disposal, sale and lease-back), real estate development (development and construction contracts) and real estate management (leases, asset/property management).

Nicolas Aynès
